Created in March 2019, FModel is a .PAK file explorer fully dedicated to Fortnite but also work with some other Unreal Engine’s games. It quickly became popular to quickly generate images of new cosmetics added to the game. Over time, new features got added and new users discovered the program.

Ever since Unreal Engine 4.0 came out I've had an inventory tutorial on my blog. I've had several people ask me how to create a 3D model viewer for use in such a system. Regardless, this sample project is stand-alone from anything I've done previously. This is a first person weapon model of a Mossberg 500 shotgun, with a short grip, shell rack, and breach compensator. Note that the ammo in the screenshot is NOT included, but is available as another download on Gumroad. Available as FBX, Unreal Engine 4 imported model / material, and the original source high/low poly files.
